Where To Get Radagon Icon Complete Location Guide
In Elden Ring, magic users often face high pressure during intense combat, making cast speed a critical factor for survival. The Radagon Icon is a legendary talisman designed to shorten the casting time of both sorceries and incantations. Acquiring this valuable piece of equipment early can transform your spellcasting efficiency across various challenging encounters.
Reaching the Academy of Raya Lucaria
To locate the Radagon Icon, players must first travel to the region of Liurnia of the Lakes and enter the Academy of Raya Lucaria. This legacy dungeon holds several magical secrets, but access requires obtaining the Academy Glintstone Key first. Once inside, you must navigate through the sprawling hallways and reach the central courtyard area.
Starting from the Debate Parlor
The journey directly to the talisman begins at the Debate Parlor Site of Grace, which becomes available immediately after defeating the Red Wolf of Radagon boss. Exit through the large double gates leading out into the open courtyard. Rather than moving forward toward the main fountain, instantly turn right and loop around the exterior wall of the building.
Unlocking the Hidden Balcony Route
Follow the narrow path along the structure's perimeter, jump over the stone railing, and climb up the iron ladder directly ahead. At the top of the ladder, locate a broken stained-glass window and carefully step through it to access the second-floor balcony overlooking the Debate Parlor. Head to the right side of this elevated walkway where a treasure chest sits guarded by a few minor enemies.
Understanding the Benefits for Your Build
Opening the treasure chest awards you the Radagon Icon, which grants a virtual increase to your Dexterity stat specifically for spell casting speeds. This virtual bonus provides the equivalent of 30 Dexterity points toward reducing cast animations. Equipping this item allows hybrid and pure caster builds to execute heavy spells much faster without requiring massive stat investments.
